Aimee K
OK, correct me if I'm wrong đ¤ŁÂ HaHa! After 50 years I'm finally learning the modes! I discovered (and I don't even know how to explain this!) an easy way to find all the modes. Say you want to learn all the modes by starting on the same note vs a key. In other words, play all modes starting on the same note. As I was concentrating on this I realized there must be an easy way to find all 7 modes starting from any note. Is this true? ...đ¤ Count down 2 whole steps from the note you want to play all modes through. For example let's start all the modes on the note C. By counting down 2 whole steps from C you land on Ab. Use the Ab major scale to figure out all modes starting on C. đ Key of C = Ioanian Key of Bb = C Dorian Key Ab = C Phrydgian Key of G = C Lydian Key of F = C Mixolydian Key of Eb = C Aolian Key of C# = C Locrian I\'m interested in any comments anyone wants to post! Happy đ Piano đš Playing!
