Joe S
Hey Anthony Malizia, Are you still doing your "post something as you first try it as is on the first take" thing I think I remember talking about a month or two or so ago? 😎

Joe S
Sounds good to me! Just keep in mind that even though I am practicing and posting everyday, I am being slow and thorough. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year could be Easter! 😛
Joe S
@anthony m Heeeeeeeyyyy Duke! I was thinking about rebooting your challenge (I thought you posted it in the forum... maybe you have and I can't find it. 😛) Currently I am working on Blues so I am considering a couple of beginner-intermediate versions of either "Big Chief/New Orleans Blues" on Blues Piano Sheets or See See Rider on MusicNotes. According to your rules, there will be 1) regular recordings from sight reading through performance/recital level -step by step on learning the song, 2) one take per recording only - mistakes not edited out. I liked the idea of your challenge but I realized I should try something less seasonal/ time sensitive, and probably more at my current playing level. 😏 Annnnnnnyway, thoughts? I think it's awesome. Great idea to work on something that you can follow through on, even during holidays and such. So much more attainable than 3 weeks to go before decorations come down. 😀 My tree is still up! But I have an excuse, my wife is just getting over her cough, lasted for a LOOONG time man. Me too, but... what can you do right? Greta idea, and I will as well- and if ANYONE else wants to join, please do! Chris White's challenge is a bit more involved- if you didn't see it, he wants to learn as MANY songs in a year, and mine is getting 1 song at a time, no matter how long it takes! Even if it takes 2 years! Maybe I should post this in the facebook group!
